As an artist I try to work in the Pre Raphaelite tradition, combining a visual language influenced by the later pre raphaelites, with poetic, literary and utopian subject matterI  believe that the psychological power of figurative art and its ability to convey complex meaning is frequently overlooked and my work aims to use  the museum gallery space, possibly in collaboration with other artists to highlight this.

My influences include  J W Waterhouse, Eleanor Fortescue-Brickdale and G F  Watts.  As an artist I am self taught although I also have a masters degree in art history from LJMU. I am based in Wirral,  North West England.
